South Carolina 2012*

Whilst in SC for christmas this year, Isabela's grandparents took us to the childrens museum! It was awesome.

Doctor station.

Cutting Opa's cast off.

Joey sliding out of a colon! Yes sound effects were included.

She LOVED the pretend food market.

Shower #1

Okay this is the prequel to the last post. My mom, Sara (occasionally) and I threw alison a baby shower. I wanted to combine our shower with the one her friend thew but apparently my crowd wasnt as, err... rowdy as the other bunch. After attending both showers I agree it was best to keep these parties  separate.

wait.. which crowd was the rowdy one again? My mother insisted on playing this game. See who can drink the blue gatorade out of the bottle the fastest.

Isabela was dressed appropriately until her Aunt Sara gave her Hello Kitty PJs right before the party. Wardrobe change!

Alison received this homemade quilt from a friend of my moms. Isabela showed everyone "her" new blanket, took it into the den, and watched a movie on it.

Kyle making a poopy face.

Isabela complained that there were no kids at the party.. so she made her own. (with her new blanket).

Isabela and Steph....once a mom, always a mom.

Another shower!

As I am making this post I realize it has nothing to do with Isabela... but it has to do with Oliver so Im okay with it.

Alison's friend threw her another baby shower. I got to go to this one as a guest which means i could sit on my rump and eat the whole time... It was fun! (......and now i realized i never posted pics from the baby shower I threw her. Okay things are out of order here but its all about the pics.)

....I know, i was speechless too.

The theme of the shower was "mustache". Its confusing because babies dont have mustaches... but I went with it.

the cake! and no, alison didnt make it this time. Oh wait, the baby on the cake has a mustache doesnt he?

presents!

little kids cant resist opening gifts. Its not Isabela, its Fiona. Equally as adorable.

If you want to know the story behind this photo you will have to ask Alison herself.

...it left Sara speechless.. which never EVER happens.

EEEk!

As some of you know, I am expecting.... a nephew! Here is Isabela feeling her baby cousin for the first time. He gave her a good bump to which she immediately turned to me and said "mom, alisons baby just kicked me...and now i cant move my leg."

Isabela has picked up quite a knack for telling on people..Even when the "crime" never actually occurred. Clearly Alisons baby didnt kick her in the leg.

My favorite tattles include:
-kids at daycare putting blood in her eye
-kids at daycare making her have bad dreams of dinosaurs
-Nana pouring soup on her
-Roxy punching her

 Shes fantastic.

(Note: the scar is a Crohns war wound. The tattoo is on purpose.)

The Cutting Edge- Isabela Style

It was just another Sunday in the Lane house....

We had to do something to spice things up around here.. Duh, ICE SKATING!

$26 later, Joey and Isabela were in skates.

Twelve minutes later, we were done. Truth be told she LOVED it. But for a three year old to do any activity for more than 12 minutes is unheard of.

I think she liked wearing the skates more than actually skating.

So we watched dad for a bit.

And ended the day with pink lemonade frozen yogurt topped with gummy bears.
