Gerow Invasion 2013

Last weekend we had Titi (angelique), Tio Scott (scott), and Graeson come crash the Lane party. Usually all the pics are of Sheryl and Angelique but some how our families keep multiplying and Im not sure i even got to have a full conversation with her all weekend. If you see her tell her Sheryl says hi.

Slush Day!

Today was a snow day although the snow was pretty much slush, or as the anchor on CNN called it "heart attack snow"! So the kid was home but we live in 2013 which means just because no one goes to work doesnt mean you dont have to do work. So joey and I took turns entertaining Isabela. I had the great idea to send Joey and Isabela outside before 10am. It took longer to round up all the gear and to put it on then they actually spent outside. Figures...

On a side note, Isabela is almost 3 and a half and I have yet to figure out how to get a tiny hand into a glove. They should call kids gloves "heart attack gloves!!!".

So instead we put on our best disney princess outfit, threw some flour in our hair and made the traditional snow day treat!...

A visit from Caitlin and an amazing onsie.. need I say more?

(PS these pics are about 4 weeks old. Oliver is longer, has more head control, lost whats left of the umbilical cord, and has a full beard). 

An assortment!

So the first photo we have here is Isabela wearing her Rapunzel hair. Joey made it for her. You see the snarled section? Thats where it originally ended.. Isabela burst into tears because it wasnt long like Rapunzel's hair...at which daddy apologized and added an extension.

Sleeping cousins... way better than kissing cousins.

Isabela had her very first play date. And just our luck the friend she wanted to invite had a twin... a boy! So for 1.5 hours i had three three year olds in my house.. their mom suggested i start with 1.5 hours. Little faith!

and just as they were getting bored joey taught them how to gamble!

 In all 1.5 hours was enough. They were in bela's room, the den and the basement, pulled out every toy we own, had a snack, and two out of the three pooped. (not joey)

Happy Valentines day!

A gift from my hubby... eggs. Isabela told me they tasted good.

Joey and I have been working on our letters and we invited Isabela to do the same. Several nights a week we all sit around practicing a specific letter. Luckily we knew the letters "I", "S", "A" just in time for valentines day. Isabela had 11 valentines to write for her family and daycare friends. She wrote 1/2 her name on all of them. I wrote in the "...bela". I already knew those letters.
