Yarlet's back!

Alison got to puppy-sit Charlotte again, or Yarlet as Isabela calls her. Here are two videos of the fun they had.

Gasness!

Now that Isabela is talking more and more sometimes she "modifies" words to fit her liking. Currently she is fond of words that end in "ness". Here are the cliff's notes: "Neckness= necklace, Nacknass= napkin, Gasness= glasses, Monkness= monkey. I got her the purse and puppy in boston. I think it was a winner :o)

Waiting for the bus?

Oh man, we have to break this binkie obsession...

Mama goes to Bean town!

wait, Boston is "bean town"... isnt it?

So for the first time in the history of ... me, i went to Boston with out my husband or daughter. It was the longest I was ever away from Isabela and it was painful, but I also had a lot of fun.

I went to see Sara, who was living in Back Bay. Here is what I have learned. Back Bay = stores that sell cashmere sweaters for babies for $113. Which also taught me Sheryl cant afford anything on Newbury Street.

Pics!

Once a mother always a mother. Sara was home sick so i swaddled her and put her to bed.

Sara's apartment!

Reflecting pool thingy

A restaurant with the same name as my husband!! Who is also American!

A coffee shop with my daughter's name on it!! (kinda sorta)

Angry Sara eating a brownie in what looks like a smokey room..... huh.

What are we looking at??

Orangey building... My hotel!!

The Mall!

The only thing i can afford on Newbury street. Eggs and french toast. Works for me!

Quincey Market, A markety thing on the water!

Okay its impossible for the two of us to take a decent photo together.

Samuel Adams!
"Joey, did you know Sam Adams was like an actual guy?"-sheryl
"...and a president at that!"-Joey

Really, what ARE we looking at??

Its not a party with out some Beans!

Joeys office buddy bill had his annual Bean pool party. For those of you who haven't put two and two together joey works at Bean Creative. Thus, its a "bean" pool party. Eh? eh?...moving on.

This is Isa in her "puddle jumper". Only the most amazing invention EVERRR! We can literally stick our out in the middle of the pool alone and she cant drown....we think.

Meet Stewart. I dont know Stewart well, but heres what i know. He has two doggies and he seems to nap at most bean functions. Isa was very concerned he was napping whilst not in PJs.

Its not a party with out a "bean" bag toss. Isa liked to take the bean bags and just walk them to the other side. So polite.

Isabela found a pair of glassness! (glassness = glasses)

Crack!

Towards the end of the party the annual cat-5 thunderstorm came through. All the girls went and played dress up in the basement.

Isabela got so excited she had to take a breather!

Ok they actually did make him hold the beer for the photo. Our favorite part was when one of the girls yells... "lets put this on on youtube!"..... (keeping in mind all the kids were either preschool or elementary school aged.)

Video! Here is a video of Isabela and the other kids running around in the rain. I love it when she thinks shes a big kid.

Mommy tought Isa how to make a fish face.....Oh and we had yogurt for breakfast.

A Movie Y'all!

Last wednesday I took Isabela to see her first movie. Winnie the Pooh! I know I know, shes not even two. But the tickets were cheap and I was curious. I went there knowing we wouldnt stay for the whole thing. It was just for the experience.

We packed a pb&j sandwich, pretzels, and a juice box. None of which we acceptable to her. After watching the previews we took a walk to the snack bar to get an lemonade icee. This $5.50 drink was a success.

Suprisingly enough she did watch the movie. Although from different locations with in the theater. We must have sat in 4 or 5 different rows. For a little bit she sat on the stairs, she liked the lights that ran up them.
But most of the time she prefered to stand.

The only time the movie lost her interest was when she was standing in the row behind my chair. She noticed there was popcorn on the floor and said "clean up!!" then brought it to me, one piece at a time.

We took two potty breaks. On the way back to the theater she yells "bear!!!" cause she knows we are going back to see Pooh. Also, as we passed a teenage boy sweeping up the hallway she looked at him and yelled "clean up!" a term she uses a lot these days.

So to recap. Pooh is a bear, Rabbit is Mimi (the name of her bunny) and Eore is a cow.

Dos Videos (parte dos)

Okay the previous post had the videos waaaaaaay to small. Here is my second attempt. And I added and extra video to make up for the confusion!

Isabela and Finley. Isabela seems to know this song as well as some hand movements. Clearly Nana has been up to something.
